The following places in our area are permanently protected and open to the public.

Some properties are owned by state, local and private groups, or outright by the Open Land Trust.  In some cases, properties have been transferred to government agencies or other nonprofits for long-term ownership and care.

Before you visit, be sure to check current hours and availability. Many Wildlife Management Areas close at certain times of year for private hunts or wildlife conservation purposes.
