Volunteers needed!
In honor of Earth Day (April 22) we are cleaning up trash and garbage that has accumulated on this property over the years.
When: Tuesday, April 29 – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
What: We are cleaning up the trail on Open Land Trust property adjacent to the Old Sheldon Church ruins parking lot. The finished trail will be approximately 3/4 mile long and will allow everyone to enjoy and observe the abundant wildlife on this beautiful piece of land.
Where: At the OLT property across the street from the Old Sheldon Church ruins, Old Sheldon Church Road, Yemassee, SC. The trail head will be accessed from the parking lot there.
How: Come dressed for working in the woods. Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes or boots, work gloves. Bring bug spray and water.
