Volunteers needed!
What:
We are building a trail on an Open Land Trust easement adjacent to the Old Sheldon Church ruins parking lot. The finished trail will be approximately 3/4 mile long and will allow everyone to enjoy and observe the abundant wildlife on this beautiful piece of land.
Where:
At the OLT property across the street from the Old Sheldon Church ruins, Old Sheldon Church Road, Yemassee, SC. The trail head will be accessed from the parking lot there.
How:
Come dressed for working in the woods. Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes or boots, work gloves. Bring bug spray and water, and if you have them, loppers, steel rakes, bow saws, etc. OLT will bring along some spare tools, as well.
