OLT closed on an easement on 282 acres in Hampton County. Odette Strahan donated this easement to protect her property, complete with long-leaf pine, wild blueberry and pristine upland and wetland habitat. Her property adds to over 3,000 acres protected in the nearby vicinity and will protect more of the Salkahatchie watershed; draining into the Port Royal Sound. Upstream land protection like this is essential to protect water quality downstream.
